Situation with a buyer who claims to have paid, but no record of payment is showing up

I have a situation where a buyer claims to have paid for an item, but this is not showing up in my account. I have gone through the regular processes to check this, but eBay have not been very helpful! Is there anyone out there who has had a similar situation and can advise me what I can do before cancelling the order?

If it's not showing as paid on ebay then it's not paid. If the buyer has somehow paid elsewhere it's up to them to sor it out and get it back. If they don't pay on ebay all you can do is cancel the transaction after 4 days.

Yes cancel for non payment. Buyer is trying it on.
