Simple delivery problem - need to resend
Hiya,
So I ran an advert for multiple items and sold one item, so far so good. I printed the simple delivery label and the item was despatched by Royal Mail. Tracking was provided to the buyer.
Here is the problem, he actually bought 2 items and I didn't notice. Can I print a second label and despatch the 2nd item, or is the simple delivery now "used"?
If I can print a second label, will Royal Mail accept it?
Will they deliver it?
Will I be charged twice for delivery?
Thanks in advance!
Andy

I've tried to go to the "print label" screen, not to print a label but to get the buyer's address. Unfortunately due to the fact I've already printed a label and the buyer has received the item, the "print label" option is no longer available - so I no longer have access to this to get the address.
Consequently I've messaged the buyer to request his addresses to enable me to send another package. I hope he (or she) replies.
Christmas has exacerbated this problem as I didn't deal with it over the last 4 days.
Doh!

If so you should be able to print a second label, however if they combined the items and only issued one label you will have to send the second at your expense.

OP7 months agoThanks.
Ebay only charged the buyer for one postage so I think it's at my expense.
But the only way I can see the buyers address is to print another label, isn't it?
And if I print another label, will it mail OK and will eBay then charge me?

Mentor7 months agoIf you select a Simple Delivery label, to see the buyer's address but do not use the label, it will be refunded, to whoever paid for the label initially, this way:

Mentor7 months agoIf there's only one combined postage label and you've used it then you won't be able to print another label, as explained you'll need to send it at your expense by buying postage elsewhere.
