Simple delivery paid but not used
Sold a Golf club that exceeded the simple delivery max size of 62cm, as it has a length of 1m20.
Therefore I had to personally book an EVRI courier delivery which allowed that size/length. It was more costly.
I sent the tracking code in a message to buyer who has received the item and given positive feedback.
How can I get ebay to refund the unused simple delivery fee of my sale?

Mentor1 month agoIf your buyer paid for the Simple Delivery label they'll receive a refund for it within 30 days.

OP1 month agoOh, so I would need to contact the buyer to request reimbursement for the unused postage fee (£6.99) that he receives within 30 days...
How can he pay me on ebay, as I can only see options for full refund?

Mentor1 month agoRefunds for unused Simple Delivery labels go back automatically to the buyer if they paid, this can take 30 days for it to appear back with them.
A seller has to claim within 14 days for themselves ,if the seller paid for that label, as shown below:
If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

Mentor1 month agoYou can't ask the buyer to pay that. It's up to sellers to get the postage right. After the sale you could have cancelled and relisted with correct postage.

Mentor1 month agoYou can't ask your buyer for reimbursement, there's no way of doing this via eBay.
