Simple delivery label printing town twice but omitting county
The last two simple delivery labels have printed the town name twice but omitted the county name. The postcodes are there.
Is this a simple delivery glitch or at my end ? Thx.

Mentor1 month agoIt is not impossible thst the post code gives a different address, based on old addresses.
By this I mean many addresses include a County which is no longer used, for example Huntingdonshire, and Rutland which would confuse computers which have never heard of these old names.

Mentor1 month agoNot a problem your end, and a bit of an odd one. So, the printed delivery address is different from the one showing anywhere else, or is it possible that this is a bit of a coincidence and the last two buyers haven't added a county?
Whilst is should be there, if the county is missing the package will still get there. In theory only a house name or number and the post code is necessary.

OP1 month agoThx. On the view order details the county is there but wasnt included in the print off. Not the first time mind I have noticed a difference between view order details and the address which prints. As you say they should still get there as the house number, street and postcode are there. In google it mentions an ebay simple delivery address repeating glitch? Thx for your time. Hopefully on the next one it revert back to normal.

Mentor1 month agoIt's not the first time there's an issue with the delivery addresses being translated incorrectly on the actual labels, there've been a few variations of this. It does tend to eventually right itself, if not pop back and we can report it as an ongoing technical issue.
