Simple Delivery - Buyer refunded
Sold item and was due £230 after fees deducted etc. Item was sold with simple eBay postage and buyer paid protection fee.
Item was recieved by buyer damaged in transit by royal mail. Buyer created refund and was given a refund. I received £202 into my eBay balance to withdraw not £230... Does this sound right? I was expecting the £230

Mentor3 weeks agoWhen buyers make an offer, it includes BPF, so you get net amount.

OP3 weeks agoApologies I understand now protection fee. Thanks but even with that deducted after the buyer was refunded via simple delivery I still seem to be out of pocket and can't see the reason why

Mentor3 weeks agoYou have a record of all transactions, if balance is less than you expected then you can see where the difference has gone,
Like a bank account, balance only changes when there is a transaction.
Has ebay realised that you are not a orivate seller, sll your items are new do you should be register as a Business Seller paying the proper fees.

OP3 weeks agoI'm trying to understand as a seller... If the buyer gets a refund through simple delivery... The seller receives a reduced total from the selling price
