Simple delivery avoidance
Does the £20 limit for posting without simple delivery apply to auction items that finish below this amount or just buy it now items?

Mentor5 months ago£20 applies to all items whether auction and BIN, if auction ends at over £20 that does not seem to be a problem, and No Simple Delivery is imposed.
However this is not available to all items, only those in exempt categories. There does not appear to be a list of exempt categories, all that happens if the item is exempt then you will find Custom Postage will be offered.
Looking at your items, ALL NEW then you should really be a business seller when Simple Delivery does not apply.

OP5 months agoThis is confusing. If I list a BIN for £20 or less I do not have to use the simple delivery for the category I use (music) but I would like to know if I list an item with a starting price of, say £4.99 and it finishes on £19.00 then am I exempt from the (awful) simple delivery process.
Only one of the listings I had offered NEW items (Beatles). The rest were all secondhand items in top condition.
