Simple Delivery
I have sold a boxing bag on Ebay and I need to sort delivery myself as it is over the weight Limit for 'Simple Delivery' and I need to use a different Courier. (Which I got a quote for beforehand) The customer has paid and I need to dispatch but it says I have to print the label from their recommended Courier- which I cant use. Does anyone know how I can change this as the Customer has paid the shipping fee, which I got quoted from a different Courier outside of Ebay.

Mentor8 months agoTo mark dispatched and get the buyer's address you still need to generate the original prepaid label ("Get prepaid label" > " Get prepaid label and QR code"). It will remain unused and that cost will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.
You cannot add a new tracking number. All you can do is message the buyer with the new tracking details. eBay have also suggested putting it in Note to self/Add note for the item on your orders list but I'm not sure how useful that is. And you would still be able to add the new number to a "Not received" case if the buyer opened one.
The payment may be held for 14 days.
