Simple delivery
I am sorry to say but this morning I have taken everything off my items for sale and will never sell again on here. I am losing money on the Simple Delivery. Example: a couple of days ago I sold a small bag which went into a DL size envelope with my own 1st class stamp. To get the address of the buyer, I had to click on Label which then activated eBay's postage cost. I was charged £2.96 from eBay leaving me out of pocket by £1.21 instead of the £4 for the bag. EBay must be really racking the money in through sellers getting their own couriers and/or using their own stamps.
I will continue to buy but never sell.

Your listing said that postage was free and you would use standard tracked, if you just used a first class stamp then it was not tracked. You could perhaps have sent it cheaper than the £2.94 ebay charged you but to get a refund of that £2.94 you still had to send it tracked, which you didn't.
That was your choice, as is stopping selling. By the way, had you had a business account (needed for selling items bought or made for sale), then you would not have had to use Simple Delivery.
