Shysters on eBay!!

Question

I purchased gloves, Advertised as 100% genuine Leather!

When I received them, they were faux ( fake) Leather!

On principle, I returned them, I payed the postage and they refunded me.

They continue to sell their junk to the public . I would like 'ebay' to ban these Shysters.

These thieves cannot be allowed to peddle their wares without consequence??

Thank you

Regards

Lionel

You should've opened an eBay return, got a pre-paid returns label from the seller and then this would all have been logged by eBay.

eBay will not ban any seller under these circumstances.

The feedback you've left will at least warn other potential buyers (if they choose to check the feedback profile).

There have always been shysters on eBay. eBay even warns buyers in the user agreement that they don't guarantee that descriptions will be truthful, the quality of items supplied , or even that they will be safe or even legal.

These are the risks you accepted when buying here, so you can't expect eBay to be like the shops. Who would buy from a shop that stated this? eBay is a jungle.

eBay does at least provide buyers with a strong money back guarantee if their items are not as described. The seller would have had to pay the return postage if you had used it.
