Shipping method changed, payment not being issued

I wonder if someone can help. I have been going around in circles on eBay's help pages and cannot find an answer.
The item I sold has been received and I have tracking to prove it. However, I changed the postage method to a better service, but eBay is not releasing my payment because it thinks it hasn't been received. I cannot find anywhere where I can change the tracking number and cannot find a number or a live assistant to discuss this with.
Can anyone in the community help.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou can't change tracking number and so payment may be held for 14 days. You will get it after that.
