Selling with Simple Postage
Summary: kit46 is experiencing issues with a new eBay listing where the postage details are not displaying correctly, despite selecting the simple postage option with Royal Mail. simplyessential_uk confirmed that older listings appear correct, but the problem persists with the new one. papso22 has requested that the listing remain visible to help diagnose the issue.
Hi. I sell all of my items on Ebay with simple postage using Royal Mail. This has all worked very well so far.
Today I listed an item- cost £7, Buyer's protection fee 59p, postage small parcel under 2kg with Royal Mail £3.38. All of this showed on my listing before it went live.
When I look at the live listing it shows the £7 cost, no mention of the buyer's protection fee and for postage it just says to contact the buyer for postage options. This hasn't happened before and don't know what to do as the listing I completed definitely chooses the Ebay simple postage.
Can anyone help at all ?

OP2 weeks agoNo, I haven't removed it again. It's still there on my Ebay active listings (which shows 15 active listings) but if I search my listings when not logged in it doesn't show up at all ! Kit46 then only has 14 active listings and not the one I put on today ! I've no idea what's going on with it.

OP2 weeks agoHi. Thanks for checking but those 14 are old listings where everything worked fine. I deleted the one I did today and have just redone it and it's just gone live but still has the same problem.

Mentor2 weeks agoIve clicked on all 14 of your listings and all show postage so seems like its sorted itself out
