Selling with Simple Delivery - Issue with combined postage (lack thereof)

Question

Hi all, what do you make of this?A buyer bought 2 separate items from me and paid postage twice, to the same address. I want to do them a service and pack together, and refund the postage, however, I can't due to simple delivery. So I did the 1 label and sent the items together. I want eBay to intervene and mark the 2nd item as despatched and do the refund, but I cannot get help via chat agents (apparently they will be with me in '1 minute', but that was 30 mins ago)Thoughts?

Open the unused label to mark the item as dispatched then add the tracking number to the extra item at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.   That has to be done on a desktop browser.    The cost of the unused label will be automatically refunded to the buyer in 30 days.
