Selling on Ebay is a waste of time, No protection from buyers saying it's damaged.
I had to refund a seller because they said the item was faulty. I have been unable to find a fault since it's been returned and they couldn't prove it was faulty when i asked for evidence so why have i had to issue a refund? Do Ebay have some seller protection/financial cover to help people being out of pocket. Any advice would be welcome.

Mentor4 months agoIf you use eBay's Simple Delivery you are protected if the item is lost or damaged in transit. That means ebay will pay the refund as long the buyer opens the correct case, ie. "item damaged in delivery" or "not received". Then eBay will issue the refund themselves and you keep the original payment. In the case of damaged items the buyer is not be required to return the item.

Mentor4 months agoEbay always believe buyers if they open not as described case.
At least you can resell item.
Block them from bidding again.
