Selling empty perfume bottles to USA

I have sone empty perfume bottles for sale, from the UK.
a buyer in the US has contacted me wanting to buy them, but she tells me last time she bought some empty perfume bottles from the UK through the Global shipping programme, Ebay destroyed them at the depot and gave her a refund.
Is it not possible to sell empty perfume bottles to the US? is it because they are deemed unsafe to fly? I have sold empty perfume bottles to Germany before through the Global shipping programme.
By the way, I am no collector myself, I just really love perfume and sell on the bottles whwn I am done..... so I am not sure of the rules.

Mentor2 weeks agoPerfume will be designated dangerous goods under transport legislation, so GSP/Pitney bowes were right to destroy the last ones. Doesn't matter the bottles are empty there will be residual etc perfume obviously hightly flammable in aeroplanes.
You may of got away with the German lot as it went by road.
