Then, you're not selling it, it sold, and it did have a postage cost on it.
You did not list it, with Collection only.
You can send the buyer a message explain your error and hope they'll agree for you to cancel the item ( if you do not wish to post it ), citing ' Buyer Requests to cancel, as this will refund the buyer , and not impact your seller performance.
Then, you can relist with a ' Collection Only ' option.
Hopefully, your buyer will agree to the cancellation, but I fear they may not ! 🤔

OP4 months agoNope, doesnt work. Relised item and cant change policy. Have spoken to ebay agent and it was changed but when finished and relisted went back to old details.

Mentor4 months ago@papso22 is correct when revising, scroll down and remove the auto relist, then you'll be able to see and select Collection only.
If using the app it's experiencing major issues, as usual, so this may not be possible to do on that device, use a laptop / PC and try Chrome, to relist and revise, as above.

Mentor4 months agoIt has sold and is advertised as with postage.
It is the ad. that gives delivery terms not the description, so buyer will expect what the ad. says. No doubt the buyer will find in any case not convenient to collect.
Why ever did you not select Collection only when listing?

Mentor4 months agoYou have no item listed for collection only. Both have contact seller for postage details.

Mentor4 months agoIs this item actually listed?
If not, it's difficult to see what you are seeing.
You should be able to select Collection Only, but this will not stop buyers messaging you to ask if it can be posted, to which you just politely reply, sorry No !

·4 months agoI am not sure what you mean by an error message. What does it say?
You can/should change your listing to collection only - don't assume an interested buyer would read the final line in the description.
