Selling a trading card grail.
Hello, I managed to pull a absolutely amazing
Card a break on whatnot and I want to sell for a high price as advised. EBay says I have a limit of £6000 a month and it won’t allow me to list it. Seems a bit unfair in my opinion.

Mentor3 weeks ago · EditedA trading card for sale at anything near that value would be a magnet for scammers.
Do you realise that if they used eBay's money back guarantee to claim it wasn't as described you would have to refund them in full?
eBay never sees the items concerned and has no idea what you sent to the buyer. If they returned a different, almost worthless card and kept the original, whose word do you imagine that eBay would probably accept?
If you don't know the answer to this, you shouldn't sell anything of value here. This appears to be your first attempt at selling so do PLEASE follow this board for a while to learn about the risks. eBay is a jungle.

Mentor3 weeks agoI would be taking something of that nature and value to a bricks and mortar auction house to sell for you with a good specialty toys department.
Doesn't seem unfair at all, its ebay trying to protect you from getting ripped off.

Mentor3 weeks agoActually it's very sensible of ebay! You do realise that buyer protection on ebay means that sellers can get scammed very easily and can lose the item and the money?
I don't think anyone on this board would recommend selling that card on ebay.
