Seller will not pick up item

I am trying to return an Item its an office chair it arrived damaged I contacted the seller to as then to organise a return. The made umpteen offers, I told then just pick up the chair. They eventually emailed a label, I had to go out of my way to find a printer, it was never picked up, made me another offer again I told them just pick up the item. The seller is now asking me to print off another label, which I am refusing to do. Tried contacting Ebay Customer Support but the AI chat box was unhelpful. Is there any other way of contacting Ebay to sort this? Thanks

Mentor4 months agoHow was the item dispatched, or did you collect? If it was dispatched by courier/royal mail etc then the seller needs to provide a label for its return.

OP4 months agoThe item is too large to take to the Post Office, so needs the seller to arrange pick up ( its over 20kg, they have supplied an Ebay generated label twice, but they are I assume not UK based, so can't arrange for Parcel Force to pick the item up, the last contact said they would give a partial refund and I could keep the item, I just want a refund but Ebay are basically impossible to contact as they keep saying the item needs to be returned but if the seller won't pick the item up I don't know where to turn to next.

Mentor4 months agoDid you open a Not as described return, arrived damaged?
It does help to go about returns the proper way, and if case opened, then you now escalate to ebay.
Ebay may refund without the need to return.
If you did not open a proper return case, then you are at the mercy of seller arranging collection and making a refund.
