Seller wants me to cancel order, can they not do this? Why are they asking me to cancel? Is there any reason why they would do this?

Mentor6 months agoCould be seller is out of stock and wants you to agree to a cancellation to avoid getting defect. He must be unaware that only sellers can cancel a sale, but also risk getting bad feedback.
Ask for explanation and tell him only sellers can cancel.

Mentor6 months agoIf it's not cancelled and not sent, you get a refund by making a claim for item not received.

Mentor6 months agoPerhaps what they were trying to convey , was to gain your ' permission' , agreement to cancel.
They could then cancel citing... ' Buyer Requests to cancel ', and this brings no defect , their seller performance is not affected.
Interesting to see , which reason they will choose for cancellation. 🤔

You could ask them why they want to cancel the order if you wish.
