Seller Standard incorrect Metrics
How do I overcome incorrect seller standard review - 25 years - above standard. 2 defects when ill and droppped to below standard. No appeal; possible from hospital bed! Help please.

OP1 month ago2 cases closed without buyer resolution whilst I was in hospital ebay counted defects as 3 because one transaction was for two items but only one buyer and only one order - . Later one order was resolved with buyer as can be seen in messages. Also as sales were low in last 12 months (ebay is sooooo popular with buyers), 24 sales div by 3 defects = 12.5%! AI obviously applied its rules blindly but surely a human CS agent can see the futility of this action. Who does it actually benefit? In fact ebay are shooting themselves in the eye as they will not allow me to use GSP/eIS, Simple Delivery etc. My rating has been 100% and above standard for 25 plus years, this action seems unnecessary for such a minor defect.

Mentor1 month agoIt's not personal it's just a numbers thing and ebay doesn't take personal circumstances into account.

Mentor1 month agoAh, that's not good. As @papso22 says, it's not personal, it's just how eBay's metrics work. Can't offer anything more positive I'm afraid.
