seller sending incorrect postage
I bought a water bottle for my daughter, the seller sent the wrong colour. After offering me a partial refund to keep it (10% and then 20%, both of which I rejected) they said I could return. They sent me a label for Royal Mail, which did not cover the correct postage. I informed them of what was needed. They sent a second label, again with insufficient postage.
The deadline for the return then passed. I couldn't work out how to open a case, it didn't give me that option from the returns screen as it was waiting for me to dispatch the item, so I 'closed the return', in the hope that I would then be able to open a case. But now it doesn't give me any options!
Can anyone help? Thank you!

Mentor11 months agoYou only get one chance of opening a case, so as in any case you have let it get out of time, nothing can be done through ebay.
You should have opened a not as described cased then when return labels were incorrect contacted ebay to get a proper label.
All you can do now is see if your payment provider can help.
Always use the systems provided by ebay within the time allowed and never try doing it your way as that will not work, unless you have got a very cooperative seller.
