Seller said he was posting via Royal Mail but has given tracking number for Evri.
Evri deliveries here are very very poor . I would not have purchased with Evri delivery. Evri is now for me making Ebay unusable. This is a very poor experience. Is there any way to complain to Ebay

OP8 months agoSeller did list as RM 1st class. Can I cancel order since seller has not done as he advertised

Mentor8 months agoI assume seller has already posted item as they gave you tracking number.
Do not refuse item.
If item is fine on delivery, then you can leave appropriate feedback.
You can open item not received case 1 day after estimated delivery date.

OP7 months agoI can't stress enough how very poor Evri are at delivering to my address. The last 5 purchases have all got lost.
I now have to use another delivery address in next village

Mentor7 months agoWhat was the item?
UK Simple Delivery can override a seller's choice of carrier (Royal Mail or Evri) if the seller has both enabled in their preferences, or if the selected carrier cannot handle the item's specifics.
eBay explain the system is designed to automatically select the most appropriate carrier for the buyer and item, and the seller must use the provided prepaid label.
This may have happened here, and it's not ideal I agree !

OP7 months agoSo ebay can overule the listing? Well then they should have sent it to my default delivery address listed in my account. Ebau needs to sharpen its act.

Mentor8 months agoPrivate sellers have to use simple delivery,
Most of the time it is Evri.
They can opt to only use RM, but has to be done when listing item.
