Seller returns scam
Summary: andysa1es describes an issue with a seller who supplied a non-valid returns label for a product purchased on eBay. They were instructed to post the item using a suspicious method and found out at the local sorting office that the label was invalid. The eBay system indicates that the issue needs attention but only directs them back to the seller's service with no option to contact an agent. They are seeking advice on how to resolve this situation.
Trade Seller has supplied a jpeg image of a non valid returns label. I was told to drop it in post box not taken it to post office which made me suspicious so I handed it in at the local sorting office. Sure enough the label wasn't valid.
This is my problem. Using eBay automated service it says this issue needs my attention and i get a message with a returns number and saying print label but when I try to print it just says seller has provided their own returns service. There seems no way to speak to an agent. It just sends me round in circles. Any advice please?

Mentor2 weeks agoYou will have to try and speak to someone at ebay, which isn't easy these days. After clicking on help at the top of any page, select a subject then type in "speak to agent". You will have to do that several times before hopefully getting through.
