Seller reluctantly has accepted a return on a faulty item but wants me to pay postage
Summary: scottner initiated a discussion about a seller who has accepted a return for a faulty item but is insisting that scottner should cover the postage costs. **peaseblossom** participated in the conversation, although the details of their interactions are not visible in the content provided. The focus of the discussion is on the seller's reluctance to cover the return postage for the item.
After receiving an item from Pakistan that was not as described, the seller tried fobbing me off, but after several attempts they have agreed to accept the item back for a refund, the seller wants me to pay for the return postage and taxes etc and then they will refund me when they're ready, once I have provided photo proof that I have used the cheapest postage possible. I do not think they will even attempt to refund the postage, from the responses I've had from them. As they are responsible for the return costs of the item I cannot find any options to use ebay's print off a label function to get the item sent back. I have no way of contacting a human at ebay and the automated assistant just keeps going round in circles. How do I get ebay to print a return label please. Any help will be gratefully accepted. Thank you.

Mentor1 month agoInternational returns can be tricky. Contact ebay and they will either warn the seller to provide the means of return, or issue the refund. You can ring them or request they ring you on your phone only, not on a laptop or PC. So view this link on your phone:
