Seller refuses to send item I won
I won an item at auction where postage was within UK. When I try to pay, ebay tell me the seller will not post to my UK county

Mentor9 months agoAre you by chance in N. Ireland or any of the Channel Isles?
There is an annoying quirk / issue with Simple Delivery, whereby if the seller has selected Evri as one of their postage options this does not allow those parts of the UK to accept payment for their items , for some reason they are classed as being ' European'. !
Ask your seller to check if by chance those places are in areas they do not post to in Site Preferences, and to add you to their buyer's exemption list.
If the above doesn't work, they may need to cancel the order with your acceptance so it doesn't damage their account standing, this refunds you, they relist the item eliminating Evri from their postage selection for you to buy again.
A faff I know, but there are still many big issues with Simple Delivery, this being one of them !

OP9 months agobeen in contact frequently to answer questions. I cannot even make the
payment, and although I asked him to sort the reason I couldn't pay (seller
doesn't post to Gloucestershire), he hasn't. He is, I believe, located in
Wales. My frustration is that I want to pay!

Mentor9 months agoYou are not alone in facing this issue, and yes, it does seem to affect those also not living in the ' hot spots for error' I mentioned above.
Ask your seller to put you on their buyer exemption list, that may help.

Hopefully, that will solve the problem.
