Seller refunds but puts item back up for sale higher price

I won a item and paid for it. The same day the seller refunds my money and puts it back up for sale at a higher price I asked him why he did this he said he wanted more money for the item

This is bad selling, and depending on the reason the seller gave for cancelling and refunding your order they can receive a damaging defect on their account.

If they gave the reason ' Buyer Requests to Cancel' this avoids any defects and if you like you can contact Customer Services explain this was not the case and you were disappointed not to receive your item. You can guide them to any message the seller sent.

You will not know of any action taken against the seller but they may well receive that deserved defect.

It's not easy to get hold of Customer Services, you need to go top left of your eBay page to Help & Contact, and keep typing in... ' I wish to speak to an agent' you should eventually get through.
