Seller Refund of Simple Delivery Postage due to item cancellation demanded by Buyer
Hi,
I'm now stuck with the situation where I've already paid and generated a "simple delivery" postage label for the buyer, then the buyer said he bought the by mistake and request the order to be cancelled.
So out of gesture of goodwill, I cancelled the order for him. From the eBay payment summary I can confirm the paid amount of the item has been refunded back to the buyer, but the amount of simply label postage which I paid for didn't refund back to me.
I also can't cancel the label from the "postage label" section, as the page advised "Simple Delivery postage labels can't be cancelled." which I think it's totally unbeliveble, as if Ebay decides to punish the seller by using simple delivery where seller chooses to pay for the postage label, what a joke!
Are there anyways I can void the label and get the postage refund due to item cancellation requested by buyer? I didn't find any cases here like this in the ebay community.
Many thanks.

Mentor10 months agoIf you cancelled the transaction on ebay the label should have cancelled too. If not try here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
That's if you had free postage (seller pays) on your listing. If the postage was stated on the listing it means buyer pays postage and they automatically get a refund in 30 days.

Hope they will look into it and refund the unused label eventually.
Kind regards.
