Seller query - posting items that are too heavy for a single box
Hi there - I new to selling.
I have accepted an offer on a listing that has multiple items. The buyer is paying for postage, but for a single, medium box (I think).
When I have come to pack them today, when combined they are very heavy, too heavy for a single box.
Can i split them across two smaller boses for the same charge to teh customer? If so, how do i handle that when I drop off at the courier desk?

MentorJul 12, 2026 at 3:48 PMPersonally you are heading for a negative feedback asking the buyer to pay more postage because YOU have not got the weights/dimensions right before listing.
Do not be surprised if the buyer cancels their order.

MentorJul 12, 2026 at 2:42 PMYou can't use the same label twice. If you want to keep things above board you'd have to cancel/refund the transactions with the buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list) and relist in two separate lots for the buyer to buy again.
