Seller postage refund for undelivered item
Sold an item on 20th December. Postage bought on Packlink via Ebay. Item was not delivered and returned back to me (claiming 'unable to access to property at 11.30a.m) despite it being delivered to a Sainsburys store. Having difficulty claiming my original postage costs back from Ebay. Any body provide any assistance? TIA

Mentor6 months agoTake it up with Packlink but I doubt you will get anywhere.
Excuse for non delivery is rather feeble, but there could be exceptional circumstances.

I give up anyway here. You have all lost the plot. Leave you all to the self-employed company you believe you have but are simply employed by Ebay? Unbelievable.

OP6 months agoIve been through that link before posting my problem and it just becomes
circular.
Tired of the gaslighting now.
What is eligible? I paid for delivery, the item was not not delivered and
returned to me (evidently courier responsibility as it states 'unable to
access property' even though it was Sainsburys at 11:00am?)
Ebay no longer have human beings working there, its all just a game. Thats
clear, but thanks anyhow

Carrier attempted delivery, so they have fulfilled their obligation.

the principal.
How can one debate a fulfilled obligation when 'the carrier attempted
delivery' when the delivery address was Argos inside a Sainsburys
supermarket at 11am but claimed 'the property was not accessible'? That is
indefensible.
As always its useless stating the obvious to huge conglomerates, but i
am indisputably right, no argument. Just to defend my point would cost
£1000's and they would make mincemeat of me drawing it out. Just puts me
off being a participant is all.
Im surprised you appear to be suggesting a defence for this? If not, and
you're just on the fence, just as bad.
If I miss a delivery date by 10 mins it shows up on an Ebay report 🤣🤣🤣
This is swapping an employed position (with all the benefits of legal
employment) for a self-employed position (but with all the negatives of
being employed without the benefits) Its robotic nonsense
