seller not directly selling items

Question

can a seller sell an item but use another company to purchase the item from and for them to then send the item on to buyer I ordered a SD card from a seller in Bournemouth ,but i have been getting messages from Alliexpress (not the seller ) to tell me that the item is on it's way ,it took 5 days from the day of purchase for any sign of movement on the SD card and Evri now have it .

That seller is a business. So if using Aliexpress as drop shippers it is allowed. But if using from them after selling to you, not allowed. The problem is proving it.

If the seller is operating a proper drop shipping account then the answer is yes.
