Seller kept item as unhappy with auction price
Seller took really long time to post my item, after asking for proof of postage he sent photo of the receipt which has a tracking number, after checking tracking details turned out that address was wrong and it was returned to sender. He now refuses to resend item saying it’s his and it’s worth more that it was auctioned for.

If you have not been refunded, you need to open an 'item not received' case.

OP11 months agoseller is deliberately trying to keep it despite the fact I legally won
auction any the item is mine. Here’s some correspondence screenshots to
help understand what I’m talking about. It’s clearly a breach of rules.

·11 months agoSellers are not supposed to cancel after a sale but Ebay can't compel a seller to complete the deal.
The best you can hope for is to get your money back.
You can report the seller to Ebay, leave negative feedback and find a better seller.

OP11 months agodisappointed. How come someone can sell something and keep it when he’s not
happy with the price. Auctions have option to reserve the minimum price
otherwise you’re taking a risk.
Anyway, thanks for your input, I’ll try to email eBay and see.

Mentor11 months agoSellers should start at a price they are happy to sell at, but it does not help when ebay suggests starting at 99p.
As already said no one can force a seller to honour a sale, but if leaving negative feedback, keep it brief, saying too much just gives reason for removal.
Say “Seller would not honour the sale” and mark star ratings down to 1.
Open a not received case and if no refund within 3 days escalate to ebay and seller also gets a defect.
