Seller has sold the item to someone directly after my money was already taken
I bought an item using a buy now option and messaged the seller to arrnage collection. He told me he had sold it someone directly and that eBay didn't have his bank details so he didn't have my money and that I still had it. He clearly has no idea how eBay works. eBay cannot resolve with me cancelling the order to return my money which seems wholly unfair that I have pretend I have cancelled the order rather than flagging that this seller is not a good eBayer.

Mentor7 months agoBuyers cannot cancel orders.
One day after your item's last estimated date for delivery proceed this way:
Go right of the item purchased, and from More Actions select.... I Have Not Received My Item.
If you are not fully refunded within 3 days, you must escalate the case on day 4 or within 30 days from opening the case, and eBay will step in and force the refund.
Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give, and do not forget to escalate.
