Seller has informed me he sold the product after I had purchased it on ebay.
I recently bought a golf putter on ebay. The seller did not send the package the following couple of days. I messaged him asking when he was going to ship the package and he replied stating he had already sold the putter. I have messaged him twice since then, requesting he cancels the order, however he has not done this. What should I do to ensure I get a full refund? Do I cancel the order myself? Wait for the order delivery date to expire and then cancel the order? Or something else?
Please can you help.

Mentor7 months agoTo add to the above, watch what reason the buyer if they cancel uses. Correctly they should use order cancelled item out of stock, as they had already sold it. If they use any other reason such as "problem with buyers address" then you need to report them as they are trying to avoid a damaging strike on their account (this may be the reason they haven't cancelled already)

Mentor7 months agoYou cannot cancel the order, only a seller can do this.
If they do not cancel to refund you, you will need to wait one day after the last estimated date for delivery and open a case for item not received for your refund, and you can leave appropriate feedback.

Mentor7 months agoIf seller does not refund you now (no reason why they can't) then 1 day after estimated delivery date open item not received case.
Escalate on day 4 if still no refund.

You should slso when you have received a refund, leave Negative feedback and mark down the star rating.
Keep feedback brief so that you do not give a reason for fb to be removed. In this case “Unsatisfactory transaction” says it all.
