Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I want to share a very distressing episode.I bought and paid for this bag on Ebay via Visa on November 3, 2025. I paid 781 CHF for the bag.Since the tracking claimed that the bag had arrived at customs, I wrote posts until I discovered the bag at customs in Frankfurt.Then I wrote to them to let them know that the seller of the bag had assured me that she would fix the main problem. The bag arrived without the necessary documents. No CITES. That's what was missing.After a series of correspondences with the seller and customs and with Ebay, who insisted that I could still give the seller a rating, I told them that it was impossible to leave a review because the bag was stuck at customs in Frankfurt and I hadn't seen it anyway. Please note that I have posted everything on Ebay so far. So is every letter from customs. I wrote to the seller to give her an update on the situation and that the bag would be confiscated on January 9th. Oh la la, she said she had already paid a considerable sum to get the CITES certificate.I questioned her again and she insisted on waiting for the certificate. Meanwhile, I asked Ebay how to cancel the order, as it looked like I would never see the bag again. As it is nowadays with companies that only use chatbots and AI, I must have landed on the wrong key, which means that it was okay for Ebay to simply hand over the seller's money to him. That happened on December 27, 2025. Meanwhile, under the pretext that she never noticed the refund, the saleswoman talked to the CITES she had paid for, which was no longer needed. Please note that she was already sitting on the refund but didn't mention it. Any honest person would have taken the time to explain to Ebay what had happened. Ebay is a trial-and-error company. Everything is equipped with machines. I asked her to call me so I could explain what was going on. All I heard was the phone ringing for three seconds, and that was it. Then I got an inquiry about how the call went.Here I am, lost 780 CHF, all because of these bots and robots and a very dishonest salesman/saleswoman. I don't blame her, I blame Ebay for not asking if I received the bag or not. It doesn't matter which button you press. Everything has been arranged in such a way that you just end up feeling frustrated and like a complete idiot.I wrote in the community chat on Ebay what had happened, and the next day I got this answer from a Verena attached. I can't say bot or human. It was she who finally explained that I could say goodbye to my money and that the seller now has the money I paid for the bag. Exactly the one who did everything wrong. I immediately wrote to him/her and she wrote back to say she did not wish any further communication.I am 69 years old. I am simply exposed to this abuse because of a technical error by Ebay and the seller. According to customs, the bag should never have been shipped. I wonder how the bag got through customs in Australia. Too many mistakes by people who should otherwise be classed as competent. I've worked all my life and just wanted to give myself a lifelong dream.May I please ask you to correct this? I'm tired of pushing buttons that only make me more frustrated and don't do anything. THE RELEASE OF THE MONEY TO THE SELLER (MENTIONED BELOW) DESPITE PERSISTENT VIOLATIONS WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG. HE/SHE NEVER INTENDED TO DELIVER THE PAPER.lives in Australia. How do you do that? Throw out money and hire a lawyer is what is recommended by Ebay!! I normally shop on Vestiare. This company will warn you straightaway that you cannot buy certain goods because it is forbidden by law. HERE WE HAVE A CASE OF NO WARNING BUT CASH BACK FOR NO DELIVERY. Easy way to cheat people out of their hard earned money with a little help from Ebay. Yet Ebay wants satisfied customers. I have sent Ebay three letters and I am yet to receive just one answer. Case unresolved closed! Never heard of this. All this automating of everything is just plain money stealing and making.May I please ask you to correct this?
