seller gave wrong label - how to proceed
Summary: jami_bing is experiencing an issue with a return process on eBay. They paid for a return label that incorrectly states a weight range of 0-2kg, while their item is 13kg. The seller has requested that they arrange their own return and provide tracking information. jami_bing is concerned about eBay potentially closing the return request automatically, as they have been unable to find an option to seek eBay's help after three days.
I am returning an item as I changed my mind, seller accepts returns
I am happy to pay own postage, I've gone through ebay return process, paying for a label
It did not prompt me to enter weight, upon checking i see the label is set to 0-2kg, my item is around 13kg
Seller asked me to arrange my own return, and provide them tracking info.
Worried about ebay auto closing my return request, right now it's just stuck on telling me to print an unusable label, it's been 3 days and I can't see any option to ask Ebay for help.

Mentor1 week agoYou will have to speak to CS to help them re issue the correct label. On returns the default is to 2kg, and doesn't allow for circumstances like this.
Goto the help pages, find the relevant area eg buying and keep typing contact agent. Eventually AI will let this happen but you may have to type it a fair few times.
