Seller cancelled saying I had requested when I haven’t?
What’s the process for a seller cancelling my order because they didn’t like the price it went for and saying I asked for cancellation when I never? Thanks.

There's nothing to enforce the seller to send your item, but if you wish, you can contact eBay Customer Services explain you did Not authorise a cancellation and were very disappointed not to receive your item. You will not know of any outcome, but they may place that damaging defect on the seller's account. eBay do not like un happy buyers.
You can leave appropriate feedback. Keep it short and factual, something like.... very disappointed that seller did not honour the sales transaction.
If you need to, this is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

OP10 months agoThanks for your help. Spoken to eBay this morning. They informed me there is nothing they can do and I can’t leave feed back because he has claimed I have asked to cancel so the feed back option is no longer available. That must be the new way to get around something not selling for the price you want without using a reserve price.
Thanks again
