Seller cancelled order, now can't leave feedback
Summary: teribus_13 shared their experience of ordering an item from an international seller on eBay, who later requested an additional 400 Euro for postage beyond the originally agreed amount. When teribus_13 refused to pay more, the seller canceled the order, incorrectly marking it as "buyer requested to cancel," preventing feedback from being left. They are seeking advice on how to report the seller to eBay.
I ordered an item from an international seller based in Italy through ebay.co.uk
On purchase, I ensured that the ebay details listed the correct postage costs to the UK, which was clearly stated as being postage to the UK. In total, the item plus shipping came to just over 360 Euro.
The seller sent a message to say the postage I had paid was incorrect and asking for an additional 400 Euro. I told them I was not willing to pay the additional cost, it's their responsibility to ensure the postage on their listings is correct, so they should honour the price they advertised.
Seller has now cancelled the order and selected "buyer requested to cancel" and I now can't leave the deserved feedback warning other users that this seller has the wrong postage costs advertised on their listings. I feel I should be able to leave that fredback or, if not, at least report the seller to ebay - but I can't find how to do so. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be appreciated.
