Seller cancelled my order after I’d paid because it didn’t make enough money.
This was the second time he has done this. My husband placed a bid the first time the item was listed, won the auction and the seller cancelled the order. My husband sent a message asking why and the said he thought it was worth more. There was no other bids.
The seller immediately relisted the item, someone else placed a bid, I then placed the next bid and won the item. Once again the seller cancelled the order.
Surely this must go against EBay policy.

Mentor5 months agoIt is, and you can report the seller but there isn't anything in place to force them to go ahead. Select the "They don't intend to go aheadn with the sale' reason:

Plus, both you and your husband are in a position to leave a well worded negative feedback, something along the lines of 'Seller cancelled sale because they decided that their auction didn't fetch a high enough price'.
