Seller address
Despite a number of messages to the seller and eBay, the seller continues to use my personal address as their business address. I am getting unwanted and unsolicited returns to my address which is causing me some distress - what can I do?

Hi @jole_8874, thanks for your post.
For this, you'd need to contact our security team to report this, and they will take you through the appropriate flow to help you with this, and then we would take it from there. You can contact them from here. However, please note that while we do everything we can to assist you and stop this, if the issue persist, you might need to contact your local authorities.
Thank you,
Marco

Mentor5 months agoYou are right to be concerned. It isn't just the distress and annoyance that's the problem; if this seller defaults on their account your own account could be restricted by association, as you will be recorded as operating from the same address. It could even affect your credit rating.
I take it that this seller has no legitimate reason to use your address, e.g. they don't reside at the same address as you, and it is not made available as an "address of convenience" for business purposes?
You haven't told us how you sent messages to eBay, but eBay is so robitic that you may do better to contact eBay customer support in person.
