Avoid sellers that are selling damaged and suspected Fake Guitars, Asked them to send photos of the truss rod 3 times ignored they have removed the listing as ended not sold ? Very fishy behaviour and as I have personally investigated this seller is actually A Bricks and Mortar company. As I have reported 2 times and appeal for the help of an actual human eBay agent to investigate this scam, I have no option but to contact the UK Trading Standards as they are more concerned than eBay AI appears to be. Very disappointing customer service from eBay and I won’t trust eBay or use their platform in future as a buyer, We are supposed to be protected by such situations but sadly this is not the Case. Welcome any help from the community to make others aware of these Attempts to scam any future buyers.

Mentor6 days agoCan you explain why you weren't protected? It's nigh on impossible for a buyer to lose out on an eBay purchase.
eBay have a 30 day Money Back Guarantee/Buyer Protection.

OP6 days ago · EditedThe Seller pulled the listing after I asked for a photo 3 times to see the condition of the guitars truss rod . I was lucky or wise enough to see through the strategy of the seller is basically a front for a well known pawn shop, and eBay has not investigated this with any agents. This goes against Fair Trading practices in this country. Just making sure people don’t deal with sellers who operate in this way.

Mentor6 days agoeBay is just a selling platform, it doesn't have the means to investigate individual sellers, which is why there's a 30 day money back guarantee against items not arriving or not being as described. Is that seller trading correctly on a business account?

OP6 days agoThe Seller is not trading fairly as a business it’s basically a front acting entity on behalf of a pawn shop the 2 businesses are trying to front as a separate entity. It’s fishy from a buyers perspective don’t you think?

OP6 days agoWould have took 5 minutes to remove the truss rod cover with a screwdriver I asked 3 times. It was ended without a sale so it’s either out on the pawnshop floor atm waiting to be sold and taken off the platform online. Very sly tactics from the company and seller.
