Hi all! I have had an account on the American ebay.com for many years. I have been living in Portugal for the last 8 years. I want to sell some of my goods worldwide. To do this, I want to continue using my ebay.com account. However, I only want to sell other goods in Europe. Therefore, I need an account on the British eBay site. But I cannot find clear instructions on how to do this and what I need for it. Do I need to register again? Can I use my account and bank details on both platforms to sell? Do I need to get new sales limits? Can I have an eBay.uk account with a Portuguese address and bank account? Please reply in detail. I would be very grateful for clear, step-by-step explanations. Thank you all!

You will have continuing difficulties in using a UK registered account from Portugal --- by Default, UK based Addresses and UK Banking account details are required + UK Import/Export VAT 20% is charged including any additional Shipping /or Duty charges
Suggest opening a Eurozone based account of choice for your intention to only sell some items within Europe.

Mentor1 year agoThere can be no interaction/transfers between different accounts, so a new login and email address will be required.

Mentor1 year agoThe only time an account registered on ebay.co.uk is appropriate is if you are a UK resident with a UK bank account and your goods are in the UK.
Anything else requires an account registered on the ebay site that covers your location, or the .com site as default.
