Scan QR code

Question

Hi. I had someone say that they have paid for one of my items and then after they paid it came up with a QE code for me to scan. Is this real or a scam please

More to the point, do you have anything sold, either awaiting payment or awaiting dispatch. If not then this person has not bought from you or paid, so suggest just ignoring that message , which to me at least does not make sense.

I assume it is a phone, so this is a scammer trying to con you. As suggested by Kat forward message to spoof@ebay.com

Thank you for posting.

This doesn't sound correct. Buyers would not get QR codes to send you through messages to scan. If a buyer purchases from you for collection they would get a code sent to them by eBay and then they would give you that code to enter when they collect it. However its not a QR code so I would advise not to click on anything in that message and if possible forward it to spoof@ebay.com.
