Scams with delivery firms
I think this needs to be put to the group.
Situation
You order a parcel which contains two items, it gets sent. Many weeks later it arrives but has been tampered with, someone has taken an item from the package and neither the delivery company or ebay will help. So I am now going to stay clear of ebay and many others should do so too. It's been going on far too much where items get stolen and consumers are taken for a ride. Well I will no longer be buying from ebay any more. No sales no deliveries means no one will get paid and will end up with 1 less sale from me. Others need to follow.

Mentor7 months agoIf seller used simple delivery then you open a Not as described case, damaged in transit.
It will become more complicated because two items in package.
Was so much simpler when using Royal Mail, and making a claim on RM. Simple zdelivery is not simple.

If you opened item not received case, you can lose if seller proved delivery.
You should have opened item not as described/parts missing case.

OP7 months agoon ebay a long time. Simple is i just stop supporting business now . You
know business will lose out because of impulse buys because ebay doest
honour the system it says it has, buyer protection. What a load of
rubbish.

Mentor7 months agoEbay does honour its very good money back guarantee as long as users understand how to use it and do so properly.
If your items were late, that's an item not received case.
If it's missing an item, it's a not as described case.
Both cases have strict 30 day time limits.

OP7 months agoguarantee, nothing will make me use them now. Now because of 1 seller
using a scam parcel company they have lost a customer. Not interested now.
I have warned you it happens.
