Remember to leave feedback.
Did you read the sellers fb. before buying, as it seems a very strange way even for a scammer?
I tried that but it stated that as we had accepted delivery that they could do nothing. It was sent to our parcel shop (PO) 48hr delivery. He's apologised profusely and is sending out another via 24 hour delivery according to messages but I have not had a notification of a tracking number. He quotes that he is allowed, as a seller, to replace not refund under ebay conditions. He also keeps asking for my home address but we can't get couriers here, hence the parcel shop.
Im very confused. I did read the very few feedback comments and they seemed ok bearing in mind everybody has to start somewhere, possibly I've been too naive/trusting.
I've given him until tonight to resolve - ebay don't want to know as we took delivery of the envelope (for evidence) so we are deemed to have accepted the item.
1 x AI and 1x 'human' deliberation of the case and they will not enter in to further correspondence
If you opened an item not received claim you'll lose because the seller has a tracking number showing that something was delivered to you.
You need to open an eBay return and select the 'Item didn't match description' or
'Received the wrong item' reason. Attach a photo of what you did receive. The seller should then provide you with a pre-paid returns label and you send back that piece of paper, if they don't then after 3 business days you can ask eBay to step in.
Thank you. I followed your advice and I now have a postage label for the envelope. Please excuse the many questions but how would you advise sending it. At the moment it is free to me as Tracked 48. What happens if the seller doesn't 'receive it'? That way I have no physical evidence, merely a photograph of said envelope.
Im feeling so confused and worried when I really don't need this at the moment due to dire personal issues which already leave my unable to sleep. That sounds like a pity party, it really isn't but my actual health is fragile and I don't need additional worries about money. Thank you

Mentor3 weeks agoPut the envelope and note in a small box and send it back using the label provided by ebay.
The return will be tracked and if the seller doesn't refund on receipt let ebay know.
