Scam listing, bought a Fuji film camera, received just white papers
It was a perfect listing. Contacted seller before ordering. When the parcel arrived two problems was there. First is buyer name was different. Then the package contained no camera inside just some papers. When i requested refund. Scammer offered 200 for a 750 gbp camera. I declined it and again he accepted return. I still need to wait till next week to ebay to step in. Fingers crossed.

If you received your order and didn't match the photos or description then you open a return and select that as the reason.
Once you request a return, the seller should get back to you within 3 business days and issue you with a pre-paid returns label. If the seller doesn't respond or you're unable to resolve the issue with them, you can ask eBay to step in and help.
How far have you got with that process?

OP7 months agoWhen i tried return, he offered me 200 refund. It was 750 for item, i declined it, and he accepted return again, now i need to wait until jan 2nd to get the label. Its on the same day that the ebay will step in. I guess.

·7 months agoThe option to ask ebay to step in will only be available if the seller doesn't provide a label.

OP7 months agoNo, have nt, no idea about that. First time for me. Actually i started this thread to learn more about these and to make sure that scammer not gonna get away with it. So please help me by giving all the guidance and recommendations. Thanks

You will then get all Ebay's guidance.

Mentor7 months agoWhen you say that the buyer name is different, so presumably not addressed to you, how can you be sure that this package relates to the camera?

OP7 months agoIt showed delivered in the app, got photo of the delivery proof from royal mail tracking as well. And interestingly the buyer who bought other camera out of 5 listed. He also put feedback as scam with similar package photo.
