Scam going on now
I have been trying to buy, dresses all the same but in different colours. (except brown). I have tried buying 2 from a seller. I get sent 1 brown dress which I didn’t order and nothing else. I got a refund for one dress and that was it. I didn’t order the brown dress. EBay stepped in and sorted this out for me.
I tried a different seller and have had exactly the same experience of ordering 2 different coloured dresses ( not brown), and being sent one brown dress. Then when I complained they asked for photo proof? I mean the cheek of it. Anyway I complied, and they have asked me to start a returns label. (Shouldn’t they be doing this)? I complied again.
I also asked them does this mean they do not have the colours available that I ordered in the first place. To which they have not answered.
I didn’t ask this of the first seller as they were obviously being dishonest.
I also had a similar problem ordering same dress just one different coloured from another seller, who then messaged me to say they didn’t have the colour I wanted. Obviously hoping I would choose option ‘brown’.
What’s going on?

Of course seller should but you have to open a not as described case first. Seller is then required to send you a return label and on return refund in full.
If it was two orders, then for the second dress you would need to open a Not Received case.

Mentor5 months agoJust sounds like very poor selling practice, it can't be economical for a seller to send a different colour item out in the hope that the buyer accepts it and then end up having to pay for the return postage cost.
I'd leave appropriate feedback to warn other buyers.
