Sale Event not working
Summary: 3djson is experiencing issues with their sale event setup, where none of their 96 listings are being included, receiving a message that they were "Skipped: In recent sale." They suspect this might be due to recent changes related to the eBay Global Shipping Programme. kat@ebay explains that listings must be unchanged for at least 14 days to be eligible for a sale, which might be causing the issue.
Hello,
I have tried several times in the last couple of weeks to create a sale event. But each time 0 of 96 listings are added with the message "Skipped: In recent sale".
Most of these listing have been running for at least a year, only 2 or 3 are younger than 3 months. The only thing I can think of as being the problem, is that I recently tried the Ebay Global Shipping Programme but it didn't work for me. It didn't have the United States and seem to have a different assortment of countries available on each listing. I turned it off and noticed that it also turned off Show the listing in the US and Canada. So I had to turn that back on for all 96 listings. Does that mean all my long-running listings are now treated as brand new? They have been in sales many times before.
Thank you, Rob

Hi @3djson ,
Thank you for your post.
If listings present with a "skipped" message it usually means they are not eligible at the time. The items must have been listed, without any change to item price, postage price, title or item description, for at least 14 days before it can be included in a sale.
Thank you,
Kat

OP1 month agoThanks Kat, Yes, I realised that I did adjust the postage price at some point. A pity I did that and missed the 4th of July Sale but I'll know next time.
Thanks again, Rob
