Sale confirm action email not in my on-line eBay messages account...
Hi there - I received a 'You made the sale' email from eBay last night. I checked the site, and it does appear that the sale is made. However, the site says payment will be made two days after the buys receives the item. Also, the email I recited from eBay does not appear in my eBay message box. I'm a little concerned it may b a scam email - but the sale does appear on the site as stated in the email, with postage info and QR code for label etc. Does this sound legit? Just concerned about that missing email in my eBay message box. I am a new seller, so a little cautious... Many thanks for any help.

As a new seller money will only be released after delivery.
Once you have a track record as a seller, then money is released within 24 hours, in many cases even before posting.

Mentor10 months agoWhen you make a sale the email to say this only goes to your external one eg gmail, yahoo etc. You don't get the same message on your ebay messaging system.
If you have the details as Papso says for the QR code and label then this means that the buyer has paid. TO check you can goto your Payments Tab and check under summary.

Mentor10 months agoIt's legitimate. You wouldn't have got the QR code if the buyer hadn't paid ebay.
