Safer video upload platform
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a keyboard from a seller, but it’s not turning on. I contacted the seller, and they’ve asked me to send a video showing the issue.
I’m happy to provide proof, but I’m concerned about uploading videos to external platforms (like YouTube) for privacy and security reasons.
Is there a safer way to share video evidence directly through eBay? Or what’s the safest method other buyers recommend in situations like this?
I just want to make sure I protect my personal information while resolving the issue properly.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Do not rely on promised and other delaying tactics. Ebay provides the way to deal with this sort of problem, use it.

You can't share a video through Ebay.
If you received the keyboard less than 30 days ago, you can return it, at the seller's expense, for a full refund.
So, I would message the seller and tell them you are not comfortable sending a video.
Then, use the Money Back Guarantee and start a return case, send the item back and get a full refund.
You do not have to send the seller a video, there is no requirement for you to prove to the seller that the item doesn't work, and this could just be a delaying tactic.

Simply open an eBay return, select 'Item is defective' and your seller must accept that return. It may ask you to provide a photo, just add any pic of the keyboard.
