RoyalMail - extra postage costs - what to do?
Summary: juxious initiated a discussion about issues with additional postage costs charged by Royal Mail, seeking advice on what to do. tobiasd4 responded, but the details of their advice are not provided.
I have won an auction with total price £1.13 and original postage costs £1.59, totalling £2.75.
I have then received a card from RoyalMail with "Sender Didn't pay the full postage" asking me to pay £1.50 additional.
Fair enough all are small prices, but in context - this doubles the original postage price and significantly alters entire pespective of this "super cheap" item.
Going for refund seems a bit unfair, but I cannot see any other option to let eBay look at it and check?

Mentor3 months agoEbay don't get involved with postage disputes.
If you have paid the fee, you can ask seller to refund you, but can't force them.
If you haven't paid, open item not received case, escalate on day 4 if no refund.
It depends how much you want the item.
