Royal Mail 2nd Class, wrong expected times
Summary: evamarievinyls is experiencing issues with the expected delivery times for items sent via Royal Mail 2nd class. They explain that with a one-day handling time, there is a discrepancy in the delivery dates being communicated to customers. Despite dispatching orders on time, customers are opening cases due to not receiving their orders within the expected timeframe. evamarievinyls contacted customer services about the problem, but it remains unresolved. They note that this issue did not occur in May and are seeking advice on how to resolve it.
Having problems with expected delivery times. Sending 2nd class items Royal Mail with 1 working Day Handling times.
Example is If someone purchases an item today, I have until 18th (tomorrow) to dispatch and the customer has been given a day of up to 20th June to expect this. This means Royal Mail 2nd class which is 2 to 3 working days is expected to deliver for Saturday.
The expected date is wrong on my recent orders, I've not done anything different but people are opening cases because they haven't received their order within 2 days. I have rang customer services but they said they will look into it.
Just to add, nothing has changed on my orders, I have not altered anything. 1 order end of May was taken on 27th May and the date given to the buyer was up to 4th June which is correct.
Any advice is appreciated.
